What do you think about blog?
After i read a blog post at Chrys blog about different categories of blog, i’m thinking what blog or weblog supposed to be actually. In chrys blog post, she stated that, blog or weblog should be online journal or in other word as online diary. Yeah, i’m agreed with her opinion about blog, but i think blog should be more than that. Blog shouldn’t just an online journal or diary but at the same time as a medium to spread out the knowledge and information to others. By definition from Wikipedia,
A blog (a portmanteau of web log) is a website where entries are commonly displayed in reverse chronological order. “Blog” can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.Many blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject; others function as more personal online diaries. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic. The ability for readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of many blogs. Most blogs are primarily textual, although some focus on art (artlog), photographs (photoblog), sketchblog, videos (vlog), music (MP3 blog), audio (podcasting) are part of a wider network of social media. Micro-blogging is another type of blogging which consists of blogs with very short posts.
So from the definition, blog or weblog is not just all about personal stuff. It can be anything as you wish. For me, blogs or weblogs are the place for us to share anything we wanna share, not limited to personal stuff only. So from my side, blogging is one of medium to share something with others, not just shared your personal stuff like your daily activities and routines.
Blog is a place where you can express your feeling, share your knowledges about something, express your opinions and others stuff. That the reason why we can see nowadays, there are variety types of blog which focused on different categories such as computers and technology, photography, political and others. For examples, Cypherhackz is a blog about technology, Blogaku is a personal blog and Shutterspeaks is a blog about photography. Why they shared and wrote about all those thing? Because they love to share it with others. They are willing to share their knowledges and informations with others people.
So, as conclusion, blog or weblog can be anything. It is not just limited to personal stuff only, it can be about everything. Maybe after this we will see more variety types of blog which focused on variety categories. It is a revolutionized in blogging. So just accept it and enjoy it. So, what do you think about blog?

I thinks blog is some thing that should be decide by the owner himself. Whether it be good or bad. Nothing matter about the posting but keep in mind that the posting should be in the requesting topic. Do not make it worst…… “Nice Blog For Novice”

@tawel sensei, yeah, i also don’t like a blog that copied others, like splog(spam blog). Copied others work to gain immediate traffic to their blog.
