Partial Solar Eclipse on 26 January 2009 at Malaysia
Salam and hello all. Do you know about this news? A nature phenomenon which is rarely happen, annular solar eclipse is expected to happen tomorrow on 26 January 2006. So, if you yet have experience to see this phenomenon by yourself, why not you spent some of your time tomorrow to see this phenomenon which expected to happen about 3 hours 46 minutes from the Indian Ocean to western Indonesia. Hence, people in Malaysia are possible to see this phenomenon. Malaysian would be able to see the moon obscuring about 82.6% of the sun and it occurs just before the sunset. Hence, during the period, you can see the sun as a very bright ring surrounding the outline of the moon. People in Malaysia can see the phenomenon as early as 4.30pm until 7.00pm, before the sunset. So, grab this chance.

So, get ready with your camera or whatever recording gadgets you have to capture the moment. Hey, this is really rare to happen, so enjoy the moment and take the chance. Beside enjoying the moment, we should realize that this phenomenon happen because of God will, because of HIS power. HE want to show to us that even the nature have to follow HIS order. Hence, we as a slave of HIM, also need to follow HIS order. Do what HE want us to do, and avoid what HE hate us to do. I hope you can manage your time to see this phenomenon. Since I at my hometown right now at Kemaman and based on the pamphlet, the eclipse would be visible at 4.36pm until 6.59pm. But, I don’t have any idea where is the great spot to see this, Pantai Cherating? Hmm..
It’ll also visible if tomorrow weather is good because today it was raining from the noon. But, hopefully it would be a bright sunny day tomorrow.

hello! im 1 month old pregnant and im working. i am scared because i go back 5 pm. The partial eclipse started at 4:30 until 7pm. I read in the internet that the pregnant woman should be inside their room so that the baby or fetus in the womb will not have any defects. It is true. thanks you very much
@cathy – there is no scientifically proven of that. prolly a rumour. says who? the eclipse itself happen without emitting any dangerous to human. unless you drink chivas on the way back hom while eclipse takes part.
