H1N1 & Reactivating…

This entry was posted on Jul 31 2009

Salam and hello everyone. Finally, I back online and write something on this blog after weeks of no update here. There are few reasons behind this period of blogging hibernation, but the main reason is because my laptop had to be sent to service center due to graphic card failure and it needs to be replaced with the new one. Unluckily for me, my laptop already out of warranty, hence I have to pay for the replacement which was about RM600! So, they have replaced the old NVidia Geforce 8600m GT with new NVidia Geforce 8600m GS and I don’t really care about the differences of having GT or GS, as long as I can use my laptop like before. Well, some people said, laptop is a high maintenance gadget because each part is not easy to get replace like desktop. But since I like to work everywhere, laptop is a good choice. Well, everything is find now, I already get back my laptop and hopefully, it’ll just work fine after this. Ok, that’s explain one of the reasons of inactivity.

Another reason is, I had a fever for 5 days and my health was really unstable last week due to unpredictable weather these days. I got fever, cough and headache, but luckily I’m going back fine after having rest and drink a lot of mineral water. I think my health is getting better even I’m still having some cough right now, but it’s better than before. Thank god! So, for those who got fever, drink a lot of water, ok?

Next, there are many things happened in this 2 weeks. Yasmin Ahmad, one of great and dedicated director has passed away. May she rest in peace. Next, all of you might already hear about H1N1 virus a.k.a selesema babi that is spreading fast right now in Malaysia and due to that, some universities have taken a decision of having early midterm holiday break. Well, the good news is, UNITEN still operates as usual even some universities around it already closed. Even there are rumors saying that there are UNITEN students infected by H1N1, but all of them are unverified. Some of them are suspected, but yet confirmed infected by H1N1. But as prevention, all of them are sent home and quarantined. So, if you feel sick, don’t hesitate to see the doctor for checking. Just to make sure whether you’re having ordinary fever or fever caused by H1N1. Ok?

I’m going to stop here now. So, till next entry. Bye!
