H1N1: UNITEN Putrajaya (Kajang) Finally Closed

Salam and hello everyone. I don’t know if I should write this or not, but as some people really want to know about it and since this blog received number of hits for the keyword “H1N1 Uniten“, hence I think it would be better if I write something about it.

Officially, UNITEN Putrajaya (main campus) is closed due to 3 confirmed cases of H1N1 and this official announcement about the closing down of university has been made by Vice Chancellor of Uniten yesterday. So, start from today (Friday: 7th August 2009), all lectures and university activities has been cancelled and all student will have semester break until 17th August 2009. However, this announcement has been made via briefing to all student yesterday and I didn’t attend this briefing for some reason, but from sms that I’ve received from my friend, it is official that UNITEN Putrajaya is closed due to H1N1 case. But, I’m still waiting for official email from UNITEN management about this matter even I yet receive one of it until now. Maybe there’s no need for them to send the email because tomorrow until 17th August 2009 is actually our official mid semester break that have been scheduled in our academic calendar and to avoid panic probably. The thing is, we only have the break one day earlier from what have been scheduled. So, it brings nothing much different. But, for those who have test today, it would be a happy moment for them. Haha!
