Salam and hello everyone. This would be my last entry on the issue of Bersih 2.0 and the purpose of this entry is just to share with this blog readers what was actually happened during the rally. I hope you watch this video rationally and watch it as a human with humanity, as a citizen of a democratic country and with an open heart. By sharing this video, it doesn’t mean I’m supporting the Bersih 2.0 rally and provoking the government and police; it is just for the sake of sharing. You can read my previous entry for my thoughts on Bersih 2.0.

Salam and hello everyone. If you’re Malaysian, you obviously know about the Bersih 2.0 rally that had happened yesterday in capital city of Kuala Lumpur. If you’re “old people” who only seek information from one channel only and ignore the other alternative source of information channels, you might end up thinks the rally has caused a lot of trouble and Bersih 2.0 bring nothing except negative effect. I can assure this as I heard and see many of us are still don’t understand why we need Bersih 2.0. Please keep your attention that I didn’t mention about Bersih 2.0 rally, but what I want to bring up here is what Bersih 2.0′s demands or objectives.

So, please put aside about who organized this Bersih 2.0 rally, who are the leader, what the leader did in the past and what so ever. Let’s focus on more important issue about the current election system of our so-called democratic country Malaysia, which is what Bersih 2.0 is pointing out.

So, dear my Mr. Prime Minister, let me state my standpoints on Bersih 2.0 issue. Personally, I’m against the rally. I say the rally. Not what the Bersih 2.0 is trying to fight regarding the current election system in Malaysia. Yes, different people have different way of accepting the issue on Bersih 2.0 and for me, rally is not my way. However, it doesn’t mean I have to totally push away what Bersih 2.0 is highlighting regarding Malaysia’s election system which needs a major reform for a more clean and transparent election system. Don’t get what I’m saying? Watch the video below.

So, do you get what I meant why we, Malaysian can’t totally reject what Bersih 2.0 is trying to change and highlight? For those who can’t understand the video which is in Malay, let me summarize it for you. Bersih 2.0 demand for:

1. Clean the electoral roll
2. Reform postal ballot
3. Use of indelible ink
4. Minimum 21 days campaign period
5. Free and fair access to media
6. Strengthen public institutions
7. Stop corruption
8. Stop dirty politics

The demands are nothing more than to improve and reform the weaknesses of the current election system and nothing to do with any individuals and political party. The demands if implemented are actually give advantages for all; rakyat, opposition and the ruling party. Again, please see Bersih 2.0 in positive perspective and be fair by not only referring to one channel for information and news. Do consider alternative sources for news and information, so you can do comparison and thinking more wisely and rational. Last but not least, don’t be an ignorant and don’t blinded your eyes from the truth and reality in front of you.

Salam and hello everyone. Forget for a while about #OpMalaysia Anonymous, Rileks Crew, Dragon Force Malaysia and other hackers with their hacking plans. TV3 has announced price reduction of RON97 fuel for rm0.10 and this bring down the price to RM2.80 beginning tomorrow (16th June 2011). This is somehow good news, even we don’t know until when this price will remain or going up or down again. Let’s wait and see.

Whatever it is, I can assure that this price reduction doesn’t bring any effects towards the price hikes of food cost and others cost related with the use of diesel. Well, Mr. Government, thank you but no thank you, really.

I believe most of Malaysia netizens have noticed about the blocking of file sharing websites by SKMM (Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia) lately and in the latest news today, most ISPs have already taken their action accordingly as requested by SKMM and KPDNKK to block all access to more than 10 of most popular file sharing websites. Read my previous entry for details.

As expected, this action is not acceptable by those file sharing websites users and a Facebook page to show their protest is now gaining more and more exposure from both netizens and medias. Most of the fans of the Facebook page shows their unacceptable reaction towards the action by SKMM. The issue becomes more hot when one of the most respected hackers groups, Anonymous has announced their plan to hack Malaysia government website as a sign of support for Malaysia netizen. Anonymous at first plans to hack Malaysia government website (www.malaysia.gov.my) at 7.30pm GMT on Wednesday (3.30am Thursday Malaysian time) and has named it “Operation Malaysia” . The video below shows the response of Anonymous towards SKMM action of blocking those file sharing websites and internet freedom.

Greetings, Malaysia, We have seen the censorship taken by the Malaysian government, blocking sites like The Pirate Bay, and WikiLeaks. Malaysia is one of the world’s strictest governments, even blocking out movies, and television shows. These acts of censorship are inexcusable. You are taking away a basic human right. The internet is here for freedom, without fear of government interference. Do not think that no one else notices. Your structured government has done the talking, and we hear loud and clear. Let this be an announcement to all your people. This is a sign, a warning, and an opportunity to listen to ideas above your own. In a way you are being stubborn. But how will this help anyone or your country. We fear that if you make further decisions to take away human freedom. We are obligated to act fast and have no mercy. For rules were meant to be broken. And corruption was meant to be washed away and forgiven. Now we will wash your corruption away so be prepared. Take this as a favor. We are Anonymous.

However, today through #OpMalaysia IRC Chat channel, it has been told that the operation is called off until further notice. Even Anonymous has called off their plan, a group of Malaysia hackers called RileksCrew/DragonForce Malaysia has started their response and action towards this blocking of file sharing websites. A few of Malaysia websites have been hacked in the last few hours. The following screenshots show the websites that have been hacked by RileksCrew/DragonForce Malaysia.

Even Anonymous has claimed they are called off their hacking plan towards Malaysia government website, a press release shared via PasteHTML.com has shown Anonymous has started their attack on Malaysia website, not government, but Sabah Tourism official website. The website currently inaccessible.

More websites have been claimed defaced by Malaysia hackers and Anonymous.

I’m not sure if this defacement is done by Malaysia hackers like before or by Anonymous, but it can be seen the title of the website has been changed to “Operation Malaysia | Operation Malaysia [pwn3d by Anonymous]“.

It seems the website has been taken down and inaccessible right now. Anonymous Malaysia claim [they] have taken down 27 websites/portals of Malaysia government. I’ve no info about all of these websites at the moment.

Update: 12.20am 16th June 2011 (Malaysia Time)

As a prevention against the attack by the hackers, it is claimed by several individuals that Malaysia’s government has taken an action by shutting down several government websites. The websites are:

• http://www.moe.gov.my/
• http://www.cidb.gov.my/
• http://www.malaysia.gov.my/
• http://www.treasury.gov.my/

It is unsure for how long the Government is going to keep shutting down the websites. It is also unsure whether the Government really close or shutting down the website because the inaccessibility of the websites might be caused by sudden high traffic to the websites.

KRU Studios also has taken action by putting their website at KRUSTUDIOS.COM into maintenance mode to avoid the attack at first. However, the website is currently inaccessible and seems has been shutting down.

I’m not sure when all these are going to stop, but the government needs to do something on the issue of blocking these file sharing websites and  SKMM should reconsider their action of blocking those websites. This is the information that I have for now, and I believe more websites are going to be hacked if the government or SKMM didn’t take any wise actions. Well, lets wait and see.

7. http://www.duckload.com – Owh, download speed is slow from this website, never mind.
8. http://www.fileserve.com – T_T This is my main source of downloading JDorama and KDrama.
9. http://www.filestube.com – Not really use it, never mind.
10. http://www.megaupload.com – Darn, this can’t be true!

According to an official letter from SKMM to all Malaysia Internet Service Provider (ISP), the reason behind this blocking action is to protect public revenue and preserve national security under Section 263 (2) of the Communication and Multimedia Act 1998. Ok, that’s the reason, so take it positively. If you want to read the whole official letter, proceed here.

So, what are you going to do? Asking SKMM to take back the action? Protesting? Crying? Or maybe find a “clever” but effective solution for this action. Hello fellow Malaysian, we have used internet for years, we have learnt a lot of things from this boundary-less internet space. Some of us have been a hacker just by learning it from the internet. Thank you MSC. So, used it to overcome the problem right now. *Ok, I give you the hint, so go Google now**Domain Name System (DNS)*

*Update: DNS seems not the solution to bypass these blocking. Let’s look at another solution. TM has started blocking some of those listed websites for both its Streamyx and UniFi customers, but not all websites are blocked.

Salam and hello everyone. So, did you hear it? Yes, you should know already the new fuel price for RON97 is RM2.90 per liter beginning tonight! Let’s shout for the highest fuel price ever! Yay!

Dear my government, when will the minimum salary is going to be up for fresh graduates and other sectors of work? Do you think we (Rakyat) and most of fresh university graduates will be able to cope with this new price hikes which will also affect the price of other things? Price of foods, price of services, price of that, price of this; Can you guarantee this fuel price hikes will not affect all those? You can say, but you can’t guarantee. I don’t mind if you say we (Government) need to minimize the fuel subsidy for the sake of other development for rakyat, but please prove the development for Rakyat as you said. Where is it? What is it? What the benefits I get? or the Rakyat get? Please prove where is the money obtained from the decreasing of fuel subsidy goes. We (Rakyat) want prove, not just words.

Dear my government, I’m sorry for asking too much because there are so much curiosity in me right now. Okay, I won’t ask for fuel price to be decreased, but would you (Mr. Government) do something on minimum salary for fresh university graduates especially those who gets their first job with salary under RM2000? A degree holder, lives in KL city, with the upcoming so many things of price hikes; what do you expect with RM2000 of salary? I think and believe the minimum salary should be on par with the current cost of living, am I right Mr. Government? Please do something.

Salam and hello everyone. I believe most Malaysian are aware about this issue. The video which has been uploaded to Youtube lately is claimed to be part of the video that has been uploaded and shared before. The previous video has been deleted from Youtube I believe, but not sure how about the latest one. However, I don’t really care to watch both of these videos shared on Youtube and don’t bother to search for it. I rather read others’ responses who have watched this video. However, if you expect you can find the link of the video here, I’m sorry I couldn’t fulfill your request.

Well, what I want to say actually is Malaysian bloggers should be careful in discussing this kind of sensitive issue. If you don’t know the true story, don’t make any speculations and false expectations.  The freedom of speech given to you in the internet has it’s boundary. You need to be aware about what you are going to write and what others may interpret from your writing. So, be careful. It is not the reason of being transparent or whatever, but you need be clear about whatever you are doing. Every facts must be supported with valid and reliable sources.

I know Malaysian bloggers want to express their opinion on the issue, but you must know where is your limit in expressing your opinion. Rohaizad has written a good entry regarding this issue and what Malaysian bloggers should aware when sharing this issue on their blogs. You can proceed here to read his entry. The entry is written in Bahasa, but I guess as a Malaysian you should easily understand what he is trying to deliver in his entry. I believe some people may agree with what I have written here and some people may disagree. I respect both of these people opinion, however, do share some of your thought on the issue.

Salam and hello everyone. I believe most people in this world already know about this disaster that was hit Japan on Friday, 11 March 2011. I’ve been following the updates on this disaster since its first day until now, and I can’t do anything other than just pray for their safety. I’ve contacted some of my friends in Japan and glad to hear they are all safe from any accidents and injuries. Thanks Allah and Alhamdulillah.

Up until now, police estimate death toll in quake-hit Miyagi prefecture, Japan, could surpass 10,000. This is a big disaster for Japan. This is not the only issue, 2 nuclear reactors located in Fukushima and Onagawa currently under nuclear emergency after its reactor core cooling system has failed to operate. This is no more an issue that only Japan need to concern, this issue involves the whole world and any nuclear accidents that may happen will not cause harm to Japan only, but probably the whole world. I hope Japan and other countries which are currently working on the solution for this problem may come out with a solution that can avoid any nuclear accident from happen from these 2 unstable nuclear reactors power plant. Let us pray for that.

As for now, there are number of organizations that currently on their way and already in Japan for rescue and working on recovery after the disaster. You are welcomed to donate on these organizations, but if you are unable to do so, just pray for their safety and spread out the words about these donations.

I don’t know how to elaborate, the video below may explain how shocking and speechless I am after watching this 2 minutes 42 seconds of video from a Malaysian, and much more important, a muslim. It is a shame. Seriously.

This video has been viewed for 44441 times in 3 days! What kind of attention do you want, Azwan Ismail? I don’t know what he was thinking while recording this video. Did he get paid to do this kind of video statements? I don’t know where he comes from, but knowing that he is one of ex-MRSM students (I don’t know from which MRSM), it is kind of embarrassing for me as one of the member of ANSARA community. What the heck with the statement “Saya Gay, Saya Okay”? Have you ever thinking about what people around you will say about you? Your friends, your family, your mother and father?

Anyway, I think you aware about the current issues in Malaysia right now and lately, about the arson attempt on two surau in Muar. But I’m not going to write any speculations or assumptions regarding this incident, but any speculations and assumptions are possible to relate this incident with any unwanted incident happened before. Well, you guess what?

PETALING JAYA: Four men, including the son of a policeman, were arrested by Johor police for Thursday’s arson attempt on two surau in Muar, Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar said Saturday. He said the suspects, aged between 16 and 28 years old, were picked up in separate raids conducted on Friday from morning to evening, and, with their arrests, believes the case has been solved. I don’t know what are these fellow Malaysian were thinking before they did something. Have they thought about the consequences from their actions? From what I’ve observed so far, what I can say is they didn’t think about the consequences from their actions and act emotionally without rational thinking. Come on fellow Malaysian, we are independent and free country, we have law and constitution. We have right channel and medium to express out opinion, thought and standpoint. Follow that, simple. Doing these kinds of provoking actions will not bring us anywhere, but can cause the issue becomes worse.

Anyway, as I said earlier, I don’t  want to comment this issue and come out with any speculations because I believe you, Malaysian are clever and can think rationally before taking any actions. Think before you act. Think about the consequences. Together we protect this country’s harmony and peace. We are 1Malaysia, right?
