Salam and hello all. Finally, we’re now in 2009 and 2008 is a history now. Either you want to forget the past or make it a guide for you in the future, it’s your choice. Whatever it is, the past is the one who taught us to be a better person for the future. We learnt from the past. But, sometime we need to forget some of it. Anyway, hopefully you’ve achieved whatever you’ve targeted in 2008, your 2008 resolutions. As we now in 2009, in a new year, start your life in new what so-called “life” hence new year is the best time for you to make a change to yourself. Yes, it’s the time.

I don’t want to talk about my new resolutions for this year yet, but I want to give you some tips on how to set up your new resolutions for 2009. Hoho.. This is for those who still don’t know what to set up for this 2009 or probably for those already set it up but still confusing about it. Ok, here are some simple tips on how to set your new resolutions.

Don’t set so many goals for this year. Set it minimum as possible so you can concentrate to what you want to achieve and you won’t feel disappointed at the end of the year because you failed to achieve your goals.
Set goals that you believe you can achieve it. But, some people like to challenge themselves hence if you believe with yourselves, then go for it.
Reward yourself. This is important to motivate you to do even better. If one of your resolutions achieved, why not reward yourself with something?
Tell others. Some people tend to keep it personal or keep it as a secret. This is not wrong from my opinion since maybe some of your resolutions really personal matter. But telling others about your resolutions make you aware about what you’ve set and motivate you to prove to others that you can achieve your resolutions.

That’s all. Hope those simple tips can help you a bit in setting up your new resolutions for this new year 2009. Actually, I got all those tips from Fly FM plus some words of mine. Haha, I listened to Fly FM yesterday (everyday actually) and they talked a bit about how to set up the new resolutions. So, thank you to Fly FM for sharing those tips. Hahaha.

Ok, I will stop here. Anyway, enjoy your holiday and happy new year 2009! Hopefully 2009 will bring more happiness to you and your family.

p/p/s: I don’t go anywhere on new year, just stay at home on the comfort sofa. I saw fireworks from my cousin’s apartment at Ara Damansara last night and wondering what the symbolic behind all these with the new year. Owh, no fireworks at KLCC for this new year.

Salam and hello all. 2009 will come really soon, owh..it’s tomorrow! Are you ready for the new resolutions? New year of 2009? Whatever it is, before we step into the first day of the new year of 2009, here is the last post for the year of 2008. Salam and hello all. Without we noticed, it was already new year (read: in Islamic year). So, in Islam, Muharram is the first month in Islamic year and today is the 1st Muharram 1430H. Whatever it is, we always hoping something better when we move into the new year, hence, whatever is your target for this new year, hopefully you’ll achieve it as you wish to. And my target or in other words, resolutions for this new year, still playing around inside my head, ya… it may sound easy to say that I want to do this bla bla..but finally none of it achieved. So, I should target something that I’m capable of achieving it. So, this process may take time. Haha, anyhow, what’s your resolution for this new year and upcoming new year of 2009?

I also want to take this chance to say my deepest condolences to the palace and the relatives of Yang Di Pertuan Besar, Tuanku Ja’afar of the passing of the ruler of Negeri Sembilan yesterday. As to give the last respect to him, the government declared 40 days of mourning. The government functions are also postponed for the next 7 days as to respect his passing. Al fatihah.

So, happy new year and have a nice holiday today. Let’s HIJRAH!

Salam and hello all. It was really a long time I didn’t post any pictures post here so I’ll put some of my recently taken pictures. Hence, for this time I want to put some colors into this blog and these are the shots of sunset from my apartment at Taman Balakong Jaya. Anyway, this is my second time to shot the sunset from my apartment window, the first one was not so good since the sun flare too much and I didn’t get what I want, the “omega 3” one. Hoho. Anyway, the second time of shot satisfied me a bit. So, enjoy the pictures below and if you have anything across your mind, don’t hesitate to leave some of your words below. Salam and hello all. Notice something? Haha, actually last day I was a bit bored, then I did some blog hopping at several blogs and found this interesting plugin for wordpress called, “let it SNOW!”. And as you can see now, my blog is snowing! Haha. Want it too? Ok, this plugin is only for those who run their own Wordpress blogs on their own hosting. Thanks to Knizam for the info of this plugin and you can download it here. Extract the downloaded file and upload the plugin folder to your /wp-content/plugins directory. Login into your Wordpress admin and activate the plugin as usual, done!

Notice anything else? See my blog header up there, what can you see? Hahaha.. Really out of idea what to do yesterday, open the PS and did some modification to my current header logo. And the result is as what you can see just now. Haha, more custom header will come out after this. So, please wait for it ya.

Ok, I know this is late but anyway, Merry Christmas to those Christian fellowships and the rest of you and me, happy holiday. Anyway tomorrow, we’ll have to go back to our daily work. No more holiday. Lols..I have only one class tomorrow but I don’t know why my lecturer doesn’t want to cancel that class.

Movie Review : Cicakman 2 Planet Hitam (The Black Planet)

Salam and hello all. Huh, movie review again? Haha, anyway I know it is quite late for me to post this review since this movie already showing for a week. I watched this movie last week Friday but due to some reasons, this post was postponed until now. Hopefully it is okay since this movie still going on showing for another few weeks. So, for this time the review is about the second movie of Malaysian superhero, Cicakman 2 Planet Hitam (The Black Planet).

So without further ado, let me brief you with some information regarding this movie, Cicakman 2 Planet Hitam (The Black Planet).

The city of Metrofulus is in chaos due to a terrible water pollution crisis caused by Profesor Klon’s “Planet Hitam” scheme, a diabolical plan to take over the water supply. Profesor Klon hires Rrama to eliminate all enemies, especially Cicak-Man. Meanwhile, Ginger Ghosts 1 and 2 return to take revenge upon their deaths and Tania struggles to reveal Cicak-Man’s true identity. Ok, this is the short review about this movie from my personal point of view. I honestly say that, I’m not intent to watch any Malay movies at cinema because from my opinion, the genre always the same. Love, romance, humor and bla bla. I think you know what I meant. I rather wait for the movie to be shown on Astro although it’ll take time. And I’m not Cicakman fans either. But anyhow, this movie, Cicakman 2 Planet Hitam (The Black Planet) from my opinion has brought the level of Malaysia film industry one step forward. I’m not saying that I satisfied with this movie but I think it was a good initiative and try by Malaysian director to try something new.

Okay, this is what I want to say about this movie. I watched the first movie of Cicakman before this, several times at home, but never watch it until the end of the movie. Why? It was boring for me. Yes, the first movie for me is not so interesting, and makes the whole story boring. Till now, I don’t know how the first movie ends. But for the second movie, I can see there are a lot of improvement in term of the storyline and the content of the movie. The trailer of the movie itself already attracted me to watch it at the cinema although I very rare to spend my money watching Malay movie at the cinema. So, for this second movie of Cicakman, the overall storyline for me has well plotted and much more interesting compare to the first movie.

Next is about the CGI elements that were implemented almost 80% of the movie. The CGIs for me still need a lot of improvement. But, I can see there are certain elements that have been rendered and created very well such as the “orange” ghost (Lol, Ginger ghosts? ). But some elements still look unrealistic and cartoon. For example, the scene where Cicakman was chasing the bank robbers, it looks really unrealistic. Anyway, this is not a big deal since the overall CGIs for me are quiet okay plus the storyline for me, has playing a big role to overcome this weaknesses.

Since this movie is a superhero comedy genre movie, so it can’t run from some humor and comedy elements. But there is not much comment about this matter because everything mixed well. So overall, the elements have been mixed really well.

Another thing is about the action part. I can see the director has puts a lot of efforts to make this movie looks different from the first one which contains lots of fighting part and some of it impressed me a bit. They really did a good job. Congrats!

As the conclusion, this movie is not so disappointed and the director has tried to give the best for the movie. You may ask, is it this film worth to watch in the cinema? My answer is, you decide. If you don’t have any other movie to watch, you may consider watching this movie. Out of 5, I would give this movie 3.5. So, are you going to watch it? Hehe.. Sometimes, we have to give chance to our own film maker so we know where their level now. If you ask for my recommendation which movie should you watch, I’ll suggest “The Day the Earth Stood Still” or “Yes Man”.

p/s: But, I’m still wondering.. Why not they use Keluangman instead of Cicakman?. Yeah, I think Keluangman would be a better original Malaysian superhero.

Comic Fiesta 2008 is Back! This Year is at Sunway Pyramid

Salam and hello all. Here is good news for all comics, arts and cosplay fans. Comic Fiesta 2008 (20 & 21 December 2008) is back! And for this time, it’ll be held at another venue which is Sunway Pyramid. As for Comic Fiesta 2007, it was held at Berjaya Times Square and I was there last time. You can see some of photo shots that I’ve taken during the last year Comic Fiesta 2007 here (1, 2 and 3), so hopefully you can get the brief idea what this event is all about.

Ok, I know that this entry should be posted earlier. Haha, the event already started and there is another one day, so if you don’t have anything to do or maybe you live near the area of the event, why not you come and enjoy this event. I also plan with my cousin to go to this event since he really wants to go, so I might accompany him to this event tomorrow. Anyway, same as last year, you need to pay some bucks for entrance fee. You may get your pass and pay it during the event day.

Salam and hello all. Sorry about no frequent updates from this blog about more than a week. Actually, I’m a bit busy with some stuffs plus lot of things happened recently, so I need to solve it one by one. My Malay’s blog also have not updated since my last entry that I’ve posted about last week I think. Sorry again.

Salam Eidul Adha 1429H/2008M, Takziah Buat Mangsa Tanah Runtuh di Bukit Antarabangsa

Salam and hello everyone. Just a short entry from me in conjuction with the celebration of Eidul Adha tomorrow. I take this chance to wish you all my muslim friends happy Eidul Adha and all of you happy holiday. Hehe, ya… I know everyone like holiday.

Like last year, I’m not going back home for Eidul Adha so I just hang out at my cousin’s house at Ara Damansara. Well, nothing to do right now and its quite boring. Watch some movies on Astro to cheer me up a bit. Well, I miss to eat rendang daging. huhu..

Next, thanks to Fareez for this card. Haha, never expect there’s also card for Eidul Adha. Anyway, here it is. Sorry ya Fareez, I don’t prepare any card for this Eidul Adha so hopefully my words would be sufficient as the replacement.

I also want to take this opporturnity to say my condolence to all the victims of landslide tragedy at Bukit Antarabangsa. I know its quite late anyway I hope its okay as long there’s sincerity in whatever we did, right? In our happiness there are always peoples out there in sadness, so let us appreciate what we had just now.

Ok, that’s all for now. Not quite in mood to write such long entry. I’m also pissed off about the issue that has been risen up by a “clever” blogger lately. Movie Review : Transporter 3

Salam and hello everyone. Huh, I’m quite busy in these few days so this blog has not been updated regularly. I think I need to reschedule my time and get everything back into the track. Since my new semester already started and next week will be the last week for add and drop session, but I’m still confused about the classes that I’ve taken currently, either I need to drop some or add some more subjects into this semester. So far, there are totally 13 credit hours for this semester plus several projects related to the subjects. Perhaps I just need to stick into the current plan. Hmm..

Ok, stop about that. Let continue about what I’m going to share with you. Have you watch Transporter 3? If not, you have two choices here; either leave this page or continue your reading. Because what I’ll tell you after this is all about this new movie of Transporter 3 and what would you get by paying about RM11 for the movie ticket.
Ok, here it goes the movie review of Transporter 3.

Ok, before we go into the review, lets have some brief introduction about the movie first.

Movie duration: 1 hour 40 minutes (more better than the last Bond’s movie; Quantum of Solace)

Starring: Jason Statham, Robert Knepper, Francois Berleand, Natalya Rudakova

Never heard about this movie before? Ok now, let have some brief movie trailer about the movie so you’ll get the idea what this movie is all about.

Frank Martin (Jason Statham) has been pressured into transporting Valentina (Natalya Rudakova) (by using a device which prevents him from moving 75 feet from his car or a bomb attached to him explodes which was unkowingly attached to him after a car crash) the kidnapped daughter of Leonid Vasilev (Jeroen Krabbe), the head of the Environmental Protection Agency for Ukraine, from Marseilles through Stuttgart and Budapest until he ends up in Odessa on the Black Sea. Along the way, with the help of Inspector Tarconi (Francois Berleand), Frank has to contend with the people who strong armed him to take the job, agents sent by Vasilev to intercept him, and the general non-cooperation of his passenger. Despite Valentina’s cynical disposition and Frank’s resistance to get involved, Frank and Valentina fall for each other, while escaping from one life-threatening situation after another. Ok, here is the short review. Since I’ve watched the previous Transporter 1 and 2, so I’ve some idea on what this movie is all about and what I will watch in this movie. Like the previous one, the main actor in this movie is Jason Statham as Frank Martin with his usual gorgeous Audi car. So, in this Transporter 3 movie, you can see Frank Martin use and drive the new Audi S8 W12. Hoho, Audi is one of my favourite car.

So what can you see in this movie are non-stop action, awesome fight scenes and explosion, and some humor. Everything has been mixed nicely and I can say the director, Olivier Megaton really did a good job on this third Transporter.

Next, how about the storyline? I would say you won’t get boring to watch this movie because the storyline was well plotted and you’ll always impress with what you watch in this movie; from the actions and the spontaneous humor in this movie. I won’t story much about the storyline, you’ve to watch it and judge it by yourself and I guaranteed that it won’t disappoint you. Next, the good thing about this movie is, you can understand this movie although you never watch this movie before. As I said before, this is the third Transporter but even you never watch the previous Transporter, you don’t have to worry, you’ll get into this movie unlike the previous Bond’s movie, Quantum of Solace. In Quantum of Solace, if you didn’t watch it’s previous Casino Royale, you won’t understand Quantum of Solace because there’s connection between the two movies. But, not in this Transporter movie.

So, what are you waiting for? Go buy your ticket now for RM11 and RM7 (student price) and enjoy the movie, otherwise wait for another 3 months later for the DVD version or maybe spend your RM15 to buy pirate DVD that already on sale before the showing date. What the heck? Anyway, its all your decision which one to choose, I’m just helping you to make the decision. Ok? Out of 5 stars, I give this new Transporter 3 movie 5 stars out of 5 since the storyline was well plotted, awesome actions and some elements like humor are nicely mixed and more importantly, it won’t disappoint you.
