DDOS Attack on My Hosting

Salam and hello everyone. If you notice yesterday, the connection to this website quite slow and sometimes got internal server error message. At first, I didn’t know what the cause of this matter but last night, while chatting with Sam (Serverfreak Support), he said the servers have been attacked by DDOS attack hence cause the network and connection to the server becomes slow.

What is DDOS attack? Mr. Wiki got the answer.

A denial-of-service attack (DoS attack) or distributed denial-of-service attack (DDoS attack) is an attempt to make a computer resource unavailable to its intended users. Although the means to carry out, motives for, and targets of a DoS attack may vary, it generally consists of the concerted, malevolent efforts of a person or persons to prevent an Internet site or service from functioning efficiently or at all, temporarily or indefinitely. Perpetrators of DoS attacks typically target sites or services hosted on high-profile web servers such as banks, credit card payment gateways, and even DNS root servers.

I didn’t chat too long with Sam since at the time I chat with him, there’s another DDOS attack. But anyway, hope this problem can be solve asap. Anyway, sorry for any inconveniences for those who are surfing this blog.

But I think the attacks already stopped since the connection to the blog quite fast right now, maybe need time to fully recover from the attack. Anyway, thanks for Sam for his hard work. He already didn’t sleep for 5 days. Ok, that just for your information.

I also noticed that some of other blogs which are hosted at Serverfreak also inaccessible such as Knizam.com and Topotato.com. I don’t know if the problem is cause by the same reason but it seems I can’t access their website in the past few days. I already tried to connect to their blog using both UMobile and Maxis Broadband but still I got the page tells the page can’t be viewed. At first I thought it might be because of the ISP itself, but trying on another ISP also come out with the same result. Till now I still can’t access their blog.

p/s: have you experienced ddos attack before?

UPDATE: IzzatRuslan.com was down for 3 hour 30 minutes from 7.35am today, so sorry for any incoveniences. But, the connection seems going back to normal already. (3.34PM)

Fastest Broadband Connection on Earth!

Salam and hi to all my readers, i come across Hembusan’s blog and i read about his post (i read this post so many time before this..hehe) about Malaysia broadband connection speed which really s*ck! I don’t want to mention any ISP’s, but i guess you should know already. Well, i read all about the comments by his readers and i found something interesting to shared here. Although it’s already an old story, but i just know now so it is new la, rite? hee.. The thing that catch my attention is a comment by 1 of his readers, about an old lady who got the fastest broaband internet connection on earth which is 40Gbps!!! Yes! its Giga everyone! The reason of slow internet connection

If you noticed these few days, the internet connection here (Malaysia) little bit slow or mostly we can says s*ck. Why? The reason is here…..

South East Asia network mostly will route from your country to Taiwan, India and other country and as India line faced the same problem and it cause us getting the same problem as well. Singapore line mostly route the other way to Australia and will not affected

If you remember last time, we also faced the same problem of slow internet connection due to earthquake. So, who should we blame for this issue?ISP? haha. well, i think you’re mature and intelectual enough to think about this problem. Hopefully, this problem can be fix asap. Hoho.. i can’t live without internet haha.. its my life! please give back my life! wakakka.. oh forget to tell you guys, i don’t know weither this issue’s reason is true or not. But i got this info at xbrain blog.

Huhu…sebenarnya lagu ni kalau didengarkan secara normalnya ok jer..tp bila dah dengar terbalik…hehehe… there are “something”… want to know what? dengar sendiri kat sini.

Sebelum korang proceed,aku cadangkan sesaper yang lemah semangat, JANGAN CUBA-CUBA NAK TRY DENGAR, kalau jadi apa2 aku TIDAK BERTANGGUNGJAWAB. So,kalo korang rase dah cukup persedian dari segi psikologi dan mental,bley dengar kat sini.
