#BersihStories – The Truth That Cannot Be Covered
Salam and hello everyone. This would be my last entry on the issue of Bersih 2.0 and the purpose of this entry is just to share with this blog readers what was actually happened during the rally. I hope you watch this video rationally and watch it as a human with humanity, as a citizen of a democratic country and with an open heart. By sharing this video, it doesn’t mean I’m supporting the Bersih 2.0 rally and provoking the government and police; it is just for the sake of sharing. You can read my previous entry for my thoughts on Bersih 2.0.
#Bersih 2.0 – “Stand and be Counted” – PM, Najib Razak
Salam and hello everyone. If you’re Malaysian, you obviously know about the Bersih 2.0 rally that had happened yesterday in capital city of Kuala Lumpur. If you’re “old people” who only seek information from one channel only and ignore the other alternative source of information channels, you might end up thinks the rally has caused a lot of trouble and Bersih 2.0 bring nothing except negative effect. I can assure this as I heard and see many of us are still don’t understand why we need Bersih 2.0. Please keep your attention that I didn’t mention about Bersih 2.0 rally, but what I want to bring up here is what Bersih 2.0′s demands or objectives.
So, please put aside about who organized this Bersih 2.0 rally, who are the leader, what the leader did in the past and what so ever. Let’s focus on more important issue about the current election system of our so-called democratic country Malaysia, which is what Bersih 2.0 is pointing out.
“I think it’s about time for people to stand up and be counted, (and state) how they feel about (the Bersih 2.0 rally),” – Datuk Seri Najib Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia. (Source)
So, dear my Mr. Prime Minister, let me state my standpoints on Bersih 2.0 issue. Personally, I’m against the rally. I say the rally. Not what the Bersih 2.0 is trying to fight regarding the current election system in Malaysia. Yes, different people have different way of accepting the issue on Bersih 2.0 and for me, rally is not my way. However, it doesn’t mean I have to totally push away what Bersih 2.0 is highlighting regarding Malaysia’s election system which needs a major reform for a more clean and transparent election system. Don’t get what I’m saying? Watch the video below.
A Month of No Update: Blogging vs. Busy Life
Salam and hello everyone. First of all, I’m still alive!
Well, I’m really sorry since there was no update about a month from this blog and even the messages in the shoutbox also were not replied. I’m sorry again. The reason behind this is only one, TIME. In the last few weeks, I don’t have enough time for me to sit in front of my laptop, tapping my fingers on the keyboard, wording out what is in my head and even having a great hours of rest. As I have mentioned in my previous entry which is about a month ago, I’m currently undergoing industrial training until 25 June 2010 as part of my degree program and this industrial training which at first I was expecting a kind of relaxing period of studying time is totally wrong. Working from 8.30 am to 6.00 pm on weekdays and sometimes need to do overtime work until 11.00 pm is what I have went through in the past few weeks. Last Friday is my latest overtime work until 10.00 pm at KLCC and working for 11 hours was really tiring, but that is what I have to go through as a service engineer trainee. Clients only want the job done, and we as service engineer is the one that need to think, analyse, troubleshoot and solve the problems and get the job done in the given period of time.
Maintaining an industrial training blog also is part of my industrial training course and this industrial training blog also is not updated to the latest date. Weekend is the only time for me to have a proper rest time and updating this blog, but I have also need to write and submit a weekly job report to my host supervisor, who also an assistant manager of Service and Maintenance department. Now, priority is coming. I need to prioritize what is more important and put aside anything which is less important.
So, for those who are asking me why I’m not updating this blog and where I’m going, I hope your questions are answered. I know there are several entries that I should already be posted here, but because of this, I have to postpone it until unknown date. Well, I hope you understand. Anyway, if you have Twitter account, you can follow me via Twitter for my latest updates. Even I’m not updating Twitter as frequent as before, but I’ll be there sometimes. For those who have left comments here, I’m sorry if I unable to reply those comments now and I promise will reply it once I have my free time.
So, that is all for now. Until next entry. Thank you for visiting my blog and bye for now.
p/s: Happy Teacher’s Day!
