#BersihStories – The Truth That Cannot Be Covered

0 Comments | This entry was posted on Jul 12 2011

Salam and hello everyone. This would be my last entry on the issue of Bersih 2.0 and the purpose of this entry is just to share with this blog readers what was actually happened during the rally. I hope you watch this video rationally and watch it as a human with humanity, as a citizen of a democratic country and with an open heart. By sharing this video, it doesn’t mean I’m supporting the Bersih 2.0 rally and provoking the government and police; it is just for the sake of sharing. You can read my previous entry for my thoughts on Bersih 2.0.

#Bersih 2.0 – “Stand and be Counted” – PM, Najib Razak

Salam and hello everyone. If you’re Malaysian, you obviously know about the Bersih 2.0 rally that had happened yesterday in capital city of Kuala Lumpur. If you’re “old people” who only seek information from one channel only and ignore the other alternative source of information channels, you might end up thinks the rally has caused a lot of trouble and Bersih 2.0 bring nothing except negative effect. I can assure this as I heard and see many of us are still don’t understand why we need Bersih 2.0. Please keep your attention that I didn’t mention about Bersih 2.0 rally, but what I want to bring up here is what Bersih 2.0′s demands or objectives.

So, please put aside about who organized this Bersih 2.0 rally, who are the leader, what the leader did in the past and what so ever. Let’s focus on more important issue about the current election system of our so-called democratic country Malaysia, which is what Bersih 2.0 is pointing out.

“I think it’s about time for people to stand up and be counted, (and state) how they feel about (the Bersih 2.0 rally),” – Datuk Seri Najib Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia. (Source)

So, dear my Mr. Prime Minister, let me state my standpoints on Bersih 2.0 issue. Personally, I’m against the rally. I say the rally. Not what the Bersih 2.0 is trying to fight regarding the current election system in Malaysia. Yes, different people have different way of accepting the issue on Bersih 2.0 and for me, rally is not my way. However, it doesn’t mean I have to totally push away what Bersih 2.0 is highlighting regarding Malaysia’s election system which needs a major reform for a more clean and transparent election system. Don’t get what I’m saying? Watch the video below.

“Saya Gay, Saya Okay” – Azwan Ismail (SeksualitiMerdeka)

Salam and hello everyone. I don’t mind if you are speechless when you read the title of this entry because me too also feel the same. I don’t know how to elaborate, the video below may explain how shocking and speechless I am after watching this 2 minutes 42 seconds of video from a Malaysian, and much more important, a muslim. It is a shame. Seriously.

This video has been viewed for 44441 times in 3 days! What kind of attention do you want, Azwan Ismail? I don’t know what he was thinking while recording this video. Did he get paid to do this kind of video statements? I don’t know where he comes from, but knowing that he is one of ex-MRSM students (I don’t know from which MRSM), it is kind of embarrassing for me as one of the member of ANSARA community. What the heck with the statement “Saya Gay, Saya Okay”? Have you ever thinking about what people around you will say about you? Your friends, your family, your mother and father?

Seriously, this video is really pissed me off. I have done my part by flagged this video as inappropriate and I hope you, the readers of this blog; if you feel that this is not right, please do the same. Azwan Ismail, please take back your bullsh*t words.

Salam Merdeka ke-52 2009 & Salam 1 Malaysia

4 Comments | This entry was posted on Aug 31 2009

Salam and hello all. Today is 31st August 2009, which is the 52nd Malaysia Independent day. Without we realized, it was already 52 years we live in peace and harmony. Thanks to all of our patriot who fought for our independent and to assure the future generations will live in peace and harmony unlike during their time. Have we ever remembered their sacrifice? Have we ever realized how hard they fought for this independent, for the peace and harmony of this country?

Sometimes, we need to think about all these. Think about the future of the country, put aside all those never-ending-political-issues and focus more on how to protect our country independent and keep our country in peace and harmony for the next 50 years probably. Agree with me? I’m sick whenever I watch on television, this party say this party like this, like that, didn’t think about “rakyat” and bla bla. Do the talking only is not enough, if you care about the “rakyat”, why not we sit together and think about the solution together? We’re 1 Malaysia, right? Why not we sit together as 1 Malaysia, solve the problem as 1 Malaysia and come out with solution as 1 Malaysia. Hence, I think it is not an issue from which party are you from, from which region and so on. We should be together as 1 team, 1 Malaysia. Am I right?

Regarding our Malaysia Independent Day celebration, do you think it is really necessary to have celebration for this day? I know it is a symbol of our “independent” to have celebration for this day, but if we take into consideration about our country condition right now especially with the spreading of H1N1 virus, do we really need this celebration? In my personal opinion, I don’t think we need this celebration. There are a lot more of ways we can do to appreciate and celebrate our Independent Day. Am I right?

So, in conjunction of our 52nd Malaysia Independent day today, I wish our country’s peace and harmony will be forever and our independent will be protected until the end. This duty is not only put on the shoulder of our leaders, but also us. So, let’s make it a reality and protect what we have right now.

p/s: Salam Merdeka, Salam 1 Malaysia! :)

Salam Ramadhan, Salam Kemerdekaan & Rumah Baru

3 Comments | This entry was posted on Sep 03 2008

Hohoo..

Pertamanya, walaupun agak lewat, aku nak ucapkan salam kemerdekaan buat semua warga Malaysia. Merdekakah kita? Persoalan ini harus dijawab berdasarkan pemahaman dan sejauh mana penghayatan anda mengenai kemerdekaan. Adakah penghayatan merdeka itu terletak kepada berapa meriahnya sambutan dibuat? Gempaknya konsert-konsert bersempena kemerdekaan (kononnya)? Untuk apa konsert-konsert semua tu? Beginikah merdeka disambut? Apa simboliknya? Dimana penghayatan merdeka? Fikirkan.

Fikirkan.

Tamat soal kemerdekaan, malas nak cakap banyak. Hohoho…

Nanti aku kongsikan gambarnya ye. :D

Ok, sampai sini setakat ni. Mungkin entri sepanjang bulan Ramadhan ni agak kurang, tapi tak mengapa, aku akan cuba berikan yang terbaik. :)

p/s: Bulan Ramadhan, bulan untuk berjimat cermat. :D
