April and A Beginning to New Challenge

Salam and hello everyone. Sorry, I still not able to reply all of your comments. But, I’m facing something weird with this blog currently. Starting from 1st April 2010, this blog traffic going down drastically from hundreds uniques visitors daily to less than 20 uniques visitors daily. I don’t know what is happening. I’ve checked hosting server status, it is running without any down time since 1st April 2010. It is ridiculous the traffic is going down like that in less than a day. More weird is that, it is starting from 1st April until today. Seriously, it make me crazy to think about it. Don’t tell me this is a kind of April Fool jokes. Huhu. See the screenshot for details.

Seriously, this is really weird for me. Looks like my blog main source of traffic, which is most of it from search engine; is gone. Do you have any ideas how this thing could happen? If before this I have not updated this blog about weeks, but still, the traffic still okay, around 30-40 uniques visitors daily, but this time, I can’t figure out what’s the problem. Either the problem is from this blog or really from the visitors itself. You think?

I have compared this blog’s traffic with several others traffic analytic tools, such as Nuffnang and Awstats. The result is quiet the same. These results drive me crazy to think how this could happen.

Anyway, put aside about this blog traffic. April is coming, and this mean I have to be ready for my new upcoming challenge. Starting this upcoming 5th April 2010, I’m going to undergo industrial training as a requirement for my degree program. Owh, forgot to mention, my industrial training is starting from 5th April 2010 until 25th June 2010, which is about 12 weeks. Some may say it is too short. Yes, it is. Three months is considered too short if compared to other universities, such as UTP which their industrial training is about 8 months. Anyway, three months is the minimum period of time for industrial training required by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia and UNITEN has decided to go with this minimum period of time for industrial training. Well, nothing much to say, just do it!

Okay, that’s all for now. If you have any ideas what is the reason behind this drastic drop of traffic to this blog, please let me know.

End of Final Exam and Nuffnang’s Cheque

Salam and hello everyone. Finally, after 2 weeks, my final exam now ends. I feel a bit relief right now and I’m just thinking of getting a great rest for this limited 3 weeks of holiday. Well, I’m still planning what to do in this holiday period.

My final exam ends on last Thursday and luckily, I got my first Nuffnang cheque into my mailbox one day before. Haha! What a great timing! If you ask about the amount, actually not too much. Hehe. But, plus minus, it is equivalently with two times of cash out. So, you may guest how much it is.

Ok, not much of things I want to write right now and above is the picture of Nuffnang’s cheque that I got. Well, for those who didn’t reach the minimum amount to cash out, don’t give up. Keep working on increasing your blog traffic and please, don’t ever ask your blog visitors and readers to click on your Nuffnang ads. It is such unethical to force others to click the ads that they are not interested. I’m saying this because I have seen several blogs do this, so please stop. Because it does not give you much. You better keep your blog traffic up and get those CPM and MCPM ads for more earning.

Thanks Nuffnang for 2 Weeks of Advertisement

Hello, I would like to say thank you to Nuffnang for these 2 weeks of advertisement. I know there are lot of bloggers out there already got their first CPM ads so many times before. But since this is the first ever CPM ads for me, so I want to write something about it. LOLS..

Yesterday, I checked my email inbox using my phone. I really shutdown my computer on 3rd May 2008 okay. Hoho.. At least I’m trying to avoid to use computer for the whole day. Haha. But after I checked my email inbox, I found an unusual email in my inbox.. from marketing@______________. Then, I’m thinking.. err.. marketing? Then, I think for a while.. err.. is it means that my blog will advertise CPM ads soon? Yeehaa..!!! ( actually I’m not shouting because at that time I’m in McD, so to avoid any compilation and other peoples around me to say “Gila ka budak ni” so.. I’m just shouting in my heart) wtf. Do You ‘Nang’ Your Own Post? Yes! Why not?

Hello to all, this post is a respond to a post by one of the nuffnangers. I’m not trying to insult or start a flame war or what so ever. But I just want to express my own view and opinion from my own perspective. At first I know Nuffnang, I didn’t really know how to get such an immediate traffic to my blog. Before this I’m just hope that my blog will be listed on the first page of the search result which somehow sound impossible such for a new comer in this blogsphere. But after Nuffnang introduced a system called Innit, everything changed. At least, I still got an amount of visitors in a day even I didn’t post anything new on my blog. It’s better than no visitor right?

At first Nuffnang introduced Innit, users only allowed to submit their blog post url. After that, Innit comes more popular for those blogger who want to get an immediate traffic to their blog. And after a while, Innit comes with a new system which allowed users to vote aka ‘Nang’ which post they find interesting. Next, Innit comes with ‘Dang’ button which I can said it somehow a button to decrease the vote of the blog post. This 2 system becomes more interesting when Innit now shows which posts are most popular, which means got more vote from the nuffnangers and also which post got the top ‘Nang’ by the nuffnangers. Ok, that’s is Innit. So, to get your post to be listed on the most popular and top post, you’ll need to get ‘Nang’ by other nuffnangers. And of course you need to write something interesting so that peoples will ‘Nang’ or vote your post. But the question now, do you ‘Nang’ or vote your own post? Before I continue, lets have some screenshot here.. hehe

Huuhu.. see that? They also ‘Nang’ and vote for their own post. Is it ok to ‘Nang’ or vote your own post? My answer is, it’s all up to you. Ok why you should ‘Nang’ your own post?

Because it is your post. You write it heartedly with your own passion to write.
In fact it is your post, off course you like your post and you know it was interesting.
In fact it was an interesting post….
Off course you’ll and should ‘Nang’ it!
and you should be proud to be the first to ‘Nang’ your own post before others.

I don’t think it’s such a big deal for someone or blogger to ‘Nang’ for their own post. It’s only one vote or only one ‘Nang’. And you only allow to ‘Nang’ your own post once. Not two, not three etc. LOL.. It just one vote anyway. Otherwise you really love to see that number zero. If you think blog writer aka post owner don’t have right to vote or ‘Nang’ for their post, I think Nuffnang should come out with a filter that blog owner can’t ‘Nang’ their own post. *I wish it’ll not happen*

But the thing now is this..

I’ve right and been given a chance to vote or ‘Nang’ for my own post just once. Why not I just simply click that yellow button and give my post 1 ‘Nang’? Why not I grab that chance? I find my post interesting because I wrote it. And of course I’ll ‘Nang’ it!

When I got ‘Dang’-ed for the first time, I tried to figure out what’s wrong with my post till I got ‘Dang’-ed. I don’t know what’s wrong with my post. LOL.. lastly, is it only because I ‘Nang’ my own post. LOL again. What ever.

Before I end my post, my answer is, Yes, I’ll ‘Nang’ my own post! Yeah, because I write it and I know it is interesting so I ‘Nang’ it! huhu.. ok.. Chill ya.. don’t get offended. Again, this just my point of view.

P/s: Till now, I didn’t use that orange button aka ‘Dang’ button even once although I found that post is not interesting, because I don’t like to condemn their post like that. So, let it be.

Nuffnang, Innit and Google PR

Nuffnang? well, i joined nuffnang about few months ago. Nothing i’ve earn yet, but wait “nothing” means here i never cash it out yet, my earning still not reach the minimum amount for me to be able to cash it out. Huhu.. well hopefully, i can cash it out for the first time soon.

I checked my Nuffnang membership status, yeah! i already selected as Glitterati member of Nuffnanger. Actually i noticed that about few days ago. Since Adverlets make a fool last time, it is still in my consideration to put the Advertlets ads back although they had offered compensation for their mistake. So, you think should i put the Advertlets ads back? Btw, i doesn’t earn nothing yet from Advertlets ads, nothing here really nothing. Zero! So i think i’ll keep with Nuffnang since Glitterati membership offered more special offer compare to compensation offered by Advertlets which they only offered for 1 month only and for sure it only give advantage for those who really earn from the Advertlets ads.Then, for me who doesn’t earn anything yet,how? Well, i just noticed by Cypherhackz at his blog about Google updated their PageRank (PR) database. So, i just checkout my current PR for this blog. Since there have lot of PR checker out there, so i just go first to the one that Cypherhacks checked his blog PR, DigPageRank. When i tried to check my PR status there, what i got is just “Database Down”, “Not available” bla bla… Then i go to my usual PR checker website, which is Blogflux. I got what i want there..huhu at least i got a result there, my PR still remain at 3. Lols.. nothing change? Btw, i think it is ok for a blog of 8 months old. Uncle Google, can you give me one more? hehe.. after that.. i checked my PR at other website, PRchecker.net. Also give me the same result. Well, i think i need more backlinks then.. Yeah, and for sure Innit can help me into it!

So can you see the result of combination of this three great free service? I simply write it this way..
Innit (Help increase your blog traffic) > Nuffnang (Earn more la! You got more visitor from Innit) > Google PR (Increase your PR indirectly..)
But theoretically, it is not simply as that la..huhu the more important is, you must have some effort to achieve your dream level in this blogosphere.

The New Nuffnang!

Nuffnang already upgraded to their new version which is now Nuffnang 2.0 Well, there a lot improvement i think from the previous one. No problem with login process. I’m also noticed that some features which is blog statistic, keywords, referrals and some others features have been fixed and now it work better than before. Congrat to Nuffnang!
