Salam and hello everyone. I believe most of Malaysia netizens have noticed about the blocking of file sharing websites by SKMM (Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia) lately and in the latest news today, most ISPs have already taken their action accordingly as requested by SKMM and KPDNKK to block all access to more than 10 of most popular file sharing websites. Read my previous entry for details.

As expected, this action is not acceptable by those file sharing websites users and a Facebook page to show their protest is now gaining more and more exposure from both netizens and medias. Most of the fans of the Facebook page shows their unacceptable reaction towards the action by SKMM. The issue becomes more hot when one of the most respected hackers groups, Anonymous has announced their plan to hack Malaysia government website as a sign of support for Malaysia netizen. Anonymous at first plans to hack Malaysia government website (www.malaysia.gov.my) at 7.30pm GMT on Wednesday (3.30am Thursday Malaysian time) and has named it “Operation Malaysia” . The video below shows the response of Anonymous towards SKMM action of blocking those file sharing websites and internet freedom.

Greetings, Malaysia, We have seen the censorship taken by the Malaysian government, blocking sites like The Pirate Bay, and WikiLeaks. Malaysia is one of the world’s strictest governments, even blocking out movies, and television shows. These acts of censorship are inexcusable. You are taking away a basic human right. The internet is here for freedom, without fear of government interference. Do not think that no one else notices. Your structured government has done the talking, and we hear loud and clear. Let this be an announcement to all your people. This is a sign, a warning, and an opportunity to listen to ideas above your own. In a way you are being stubborn. But how will this help anyone or your country. We fear that if you make further decisions to take away human freedom. We are obligated to act fast and have no mercy. For rules were meant to be broken. And corruption was meant to be washed away and forgiven. Now we will wash your corruption away so be prepared. Take this as a favor. We are Anonymous.

However, today through #OpMalaysia IRC Chat channel, it has been told that the operation is called off until further notice. Even Anonymous has called off their plan, a group of Malaysia hackers called RileksCrew/DragonForce Malaysia has started their response and action towards this blocking of file sharing websites. A few of Malaysia websites have been hacked in the last few hours. The following screenshots show the websites that have been hacked by RileksCrew/DragonForce Malaysia.

Even Anonymous has claimed they are called off their hacking plan towards Malaysia government website, a press release shared via PasteHTML.com has shown Anonymous has started their attack on Malaysia website, not government, but Sabah Tourism official website. The website currently inaccessible.

More websites have been claimed defaced by Malaysia hackers and Anonymous.

I’m not sure if this defacement is done by Malaysia hackers like before or by Anonymous, but it can be seen the title of the website has been changed to “Operation Malaysia | Operation Malaysia [pwn3d by Anonymous]“.

It seems the website has been taken down and inaccessible right now. Anonymous Malaysia claim [they] have taken down 27 websites/portals of Malaysia government. I’ve no info about all of these websites at the moment.

Update: 12.20am 16th June 2011 (Malaysia Time)

As a prevention against the attack by the hackers, it is claimed by several individuals that Malaysia’s government has taken an action by shutting down several government websites. The websites are:

• http://www.bomba.gov.my/
• http://www.moe.gov.my/
• http://www.cidb.gov.my/
• http://www.malaysia.gov.my/
• http://www.treasury.gov.my/

It is unsure for how long the Government is going to keep shutting down the websites. It is also unsure whether the Government really close or shutting down the website because the inaccessibility of the websites might be caused by sudden high traffic to the websites.

KRU Studios also has taken action by putting their website at KRUSTUDIOS.COM into maintenance mode to avoid the attack at first. However, the website is currently inaccessible and seems has been shutting down.

I’m not sure when all these are going to stop, but the government needs to do something on the issue of blocking these file sharing websites and  SKMM should reconsider their action of blocking those websites. This is the information that I have for now, and I believe more websites are going to be hacked if the government or SKMM didn’t take any wise actions. Well, lets wait and see.

Anyway, this is just a quick-and-to-release-my-exam-stress entry and not an entry which will be discussed or written in details.

Salam and hello everyone. If you still don’t have any plan for next week’s weekend, ya next week, not this week. I mean not today. Let me suggest you to one of the events you should consider to go next week’s weekend.  Here it is, as stated in the title, the 2nd Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2010 is back! Like last year, this year hot air balloon fiesta event will bring 19 hot air balloon participants from all over the globe such as France, New Zealand, Belgium, Netherlands and of course Malaysia too.

For details about the program’s itinerary, please proceed here for details. This event will run for 4 days, I’m not sure which day you should go. If you can come everyday from 18 to 21 March 2010, it would be really great, but anyway, if you ask me which day would be great to go, I will suggest you to go on Saturday (20 March 2010). If you look at itinerary, the schedule for each day is the same, maybe one or two might be different. However, on night of 20 March 2010, there is fireworks show which I think would be great for you if you want to photograph any pictures or you are fireworks’ fans.

Ok, since this event is called hot air balloon fiesta, of course some of you would like to take a ride on any of these hot air balloons, right? Speaking of that matter, you will have the opportunity to ride on it, but you must be ready to pay a few ringgit for the ticket and ready to wait in front of the ticket counter as early as 6.30am to get the ticket. That’s what you have to do if you want to take a ride during morning flight. For evening flight, I’m not sure. If you read my last year entry of this hot air balloon fiesta, you’ll know that the tickets were sold out as early as 7.00am and it were limited to 70 tickets per day only. If the organizer has increased the amount of the tickets for this year hot air balloon fiesta, it would be really great.

Salam and hello everyone. This is just another quick update for Karnival WOW! Putrajaya that is going to start tomorrow at Tapak Pasar Tani, Presint 2, Putrajaya. According to myJazmanie, visitors will have firework show tomorrow at Putrajaya in conjunction with this carnival and if you want to shoot firework, this is the right time for you to practice your photography skills. Get ready with your gears, tripod, full charged battery etc. Hehe

I’m not sure where is the location for this firework show. It is unlikely it will be shot at PICC like MIFC last year because the location of the carnival is too far from PICC. I’ll update it later, maybe via my Twitter. So, follow me at Twitter for latest update. The firework show is expected to start after the concert, so it would be around 11pm onwards.

Putrajaya this weekend, on 20 and 21st of February 2010. The purpose of this carnival is to promote Putrajaya Event Calendar throughout this year 2010 including the 2nd Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2010 that will be held from 18th-21st March 2010.

Remember I told you last time in my previous entry that in the evening, I tried to shot this hot air balloon from another spot? But, unfortunately the hot air balloon didn’t come towards us. We had planned to get a few shots when the balloon cross the Seri Saujana Bridge, but unluckily the balloon didn’t come towards the bridge. Haiyah.. Anyway, I managed to get some few shots taken from Seri Saujana Bridge.

Whatever it is, there are still some balloon that are suitable for children under 12. Hahaha, I mean these kind of balloon. Haha.

And I hope the organiser will add some more ticket per day because 70 tickets per day seem not enough compare to the people that come to the event. As I have promised before in my previous entry, I’ll share some pictures and photos that I have taken from the first Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta that was held on 19-22 March 2009. So, I don’t want to elaborate more, here are the pictures and photos that I think are the best from hundreds of pictures that I have taken on 21 March 2009. Please be patient while waiting the pictures to be loaded completely, I know even if you use broadband connection, you still have to wait. That’s what Malaysia’s broadband is. So, please wait ya!

I’ve divided the pictures into 2 parts and this is the part 1 from 2 parts. In this part, I’ll share the pictures of the hot air balloon, which is the main subject in this event. So, enjoy the pictures below and proceed your reading. All these pictures have been taken in the morning around 8 am till 9 am on 21 March 2009. So, you’ll notice the sky in my pictures was not as blue as it should be and the cloud was not really attractive enough. Well, it was a morning sky. Anyway, enjoy the pictures!

Straight to the point, this entry is dedicated to an event that will ends today (22 March 2009), Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon 2009. Some of you might already know about this event and for your information, this is the first time for this event been held in Malaysia. Anyway, those who are looking for photos or pictures for Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2009 from this blog, I hope you can wait for my next entry. I’ll post more photos from this event soon. So, stay tuned ya!

I went to this event yesterday, early in the morning. Not so early actually, it was about 7.30 am when I went out from my house with my housemate. Actually we had planned to get there as early as 7.30 am, but because we have overslept, we reached there about 8.00 am, with hope that we still can get the ticket to ride on the hot air balloon. But it was disappointed when we reached there, it was totally sold out and tickets for today (22 March 2009) are only for charity. We have heard that, 70 limited tickets for yesterday were sold out in 10 minutes! Which sound impossible for us to get the ticket because the ticket counter started selling the ticket at 7.00 am, which at that time we were still in dream mode.

Anyway, we managed to get few shots from the event and we were quite satisfied with the shots that we got yesterday. In the evening, we tried to get another few shots from another spot but little disappointed because the hot air balloon were not coming toward the spot we expect the hot air balloon to come! Wasted about 2 hours waiting the hot air balloon to come, we changed our spot one more time and get some few random shots around Putrajaya.

Anyway, that’s all for now. I’ll post more photos or pictures for Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2009 as soon as possible in my next entry. Since my final exam week start this Monday, so I’ve to concentrate on it first. Hope you don’t mind. Salam and hello all. Don’t get me wrong, the title of this post is nothing. Haha, I don’t mean to condemn or what so ever but actually I want to show how impress I am with this movie. Yesterday, I took my cousin at INTI University College,  Nilai to Alamanda since we had planned last week to watch this local 3D animation movie, Geng the Movie. We arrived at Alamanda about 7.30pm and I thought there’s still any seat available for both of us, but a bit disappointed to see from the LCD tv at the Alamanda GSC Cinema that Geng the Movie currently selling fast! Ah..maybe we’re late. At the time to purchase the ticket, there’s none of free seat available for that movie so, we changed our plan to Ong Bak 2. The movie started at 9.10pm and to kill the time we went for dinner.

About 9pm, when we want to enter the cinema for the Ong Bak 2, I saw many people lined up from the ticket counter and what made me more impressed was what currently showing on the LCD tv at the ticket counter. Again, the ticket for Geng the Movie for 10pm and 12.10am session currently selling fast! Again! What the heck!? What I was thinking that time is, I must watch this movie! Yes! I must watch.

Quite impressed with what I saw yesterday, I think Les Copaque have done a really well-done job on promoting this 3D animation movie. Even I didn’t watch the movie yet, but from what other bloggers who already watched it’s premium screening month ago have said about this movie, I think this movie can go far and it’ll not impossible it’ll break the box office in less than a week. Maybe, I need to do reservation for the ticket since it looks like this movie quite “HOT” now.

p/s: I have two tests next week and, most probably I can’t spend my time for cinema for next week, maybe today or tomorrow?
